MEET THE OWNER & DIRECTOR

MacKenzie Harris

MacKenzie began dancing at the age of 3 and trained in a variety of styles, including Tap, Jazz, Hip-Hop, and Contemporary. Her passion for dance quickly grew, leading her to begin competitive training at just 8 years old, where she fell in love with performing and the energy of the stage.

Alongside her dance journey, MacKenzie gained early experience in pageantry as a child and later competed in the Miss Teen Pageant Competition in 2017, strengthening her confidence, stage presence, and performance skills. She also received modeling training through a professional agency, further developing her presentation skills and overall stage presence.

MacKenzie also brings over 10 years of experience in cheerleading and gymnastics, giving her a strong and well-rounded foundation in performance, athletic movement, and discipline.

While studying Biology in college on a pre-med track, MacKenzie continued dancing and began teaching. During this time, she discovered her true passion for instruction and mentoring students. Falling in love with teaching ultimately confirmed her lifelong dream of opening her own studio.

In 2023, MacKenzie earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology and brought her vision to life by opening Kenzie’s Dancin’ Out the same year—a dream built from passion, dedication, and love for the arts. As Owner and Director, she serves as the primary choreographer and instructor for all classes, sharing her love for dance, cheer, and performance with every student who walks through the doors of Kenzie’s Dancin’ Out to train, grow, and shine
