Classes for Every Age & Level

Whether your dancer wants to have fun, perform, or compete, we offer a variety of classes for every age and level. From beginner to advanced, our programs are designed to meet every dancer where they are. Explore our classes below to find the perfect fit for your dancer’s age, level, and goals.

Dance With Me (Ages 1.5-2.5)

A joyful first dance experience where toddlers explore movement, music, and coordination alongside a parent, grandparent, or caregiver. This class encourages bonding, confidence, and early social skills through fun, interactive activities in a supportive environment.

Pre-Dance Creative Movement (Ages 2.5-3.5 years old)

An introductory class that explores creative movement with early ballet-based fundamentals. Dancers build coordination, balance, listening skills, and confidence through music, imagination, and structured play.

Ballet
(Ages 4-18)

A classical dance style that focuses on grace, posture, strength, and technique. Ballet builds discipline, flexibility, and strong foundational skills used in all other dance styles.

Tap (Ages 4-18)

A rhythmic and energetic style where dancers use their feet like instruments to create sounds. Tap improves timing, coordination, and musicality in a fun, upbeat environment.

Jazz
(Ages 5-18)

A high-energy class combining sharp movements, turns, leaps, and style. Jazz helps dancers build strength, flexibility, and performance confidence.

hiphop
(Ages 5-18)

A fun and energetic street-style dance class focused on rhythm, coordination, and freestyle movement. Dancers learn age-appropriate hip-hop skills while building confidence and personality.

Pom
(Ages 5-18)

A sharp, high-energy style combining jazz and cheer technique with precise movements and formations. Focuses on synchronization, performance skills, and team spirit.

Contemporary
(Ages 6-18)

An expressive style that blends ballet, jazz, and modern movement. Dancers learn to connect emotion with technique while improving control, flow, and storytelling through dance.

Lyrical
(Ages 6-18)

A graceful fusion of ballet and jazz that emphasizes emotion and expression. Dancers learn to interpret music and tell a story through smooth, flowing movement.

Technique
(Ages 6-18)

A foundational class focused on turns, leaps, flexibility, strength, and alignment. This class improves overall dance ability and helps dancers grow in every style.

Conditioning
(Ages 6-18)

A strength and flexibility-based class designed to build endurance, prevent injury, and improve overall performance. Dancers develop core strength, control, and athleticism.

Performance Program

Our Performance Program is designed for dedicated dancers who want more stage experience and elevated training. Entry is by audition only and placement is based on age and ability.

This program focuses on performance quality, teamwork, and growth as dancers. Members train with a strong emphasis on preparing for competitive dance environments, college dance teams, and advanced performance opportunities.

Performance teams represent KDO at community events and seasonal showcases, including Cherry Blossom, Scaryville, Tree Lighting, Whoville, Christmas Parades, and dance conventions.

Master classes are included to provide additional training in technique, performance, and industry-style choreography.

How to Sign Up for Dance at kdo

The process is Easy and designed to secure your Child’s spot quickly.

1. Submit Registration Online

Complete our online registration form and pay the $55.00 registration fee to reserve your spot in your selected program.

2. Receive Your Parent Portal Access

Once registered, you will receive a link to your parent portal, where you can complete the required forms and submit your tuition payment.

3. Registration & Tuition Confirmed

Once your registration fee and tuition payment are received, our team will contact you to schedule your in-studio appointment and finalize your enrollment.
