This program offers a variety of dance classes that meet once a week, for students to gain experience in dance forms. Acro dance is a style of dance that combines classical dance technique with precision acrobatic elements. Acro dance is a style of dance that combines classical dance technique with precision acrobatic elements. It is defined by its athletic character, its unique choreography (which seamlessly blends dance and acrobatics), and its use of acrobatics in a dance context. Our class works towards increased flexibility, balance, strength, muscle control . This class will focus on fundamental acrobatic technique, teaching such skills as handstands, chin stands, elbow stands, cartwheels, back bends, walkovers, balance and contortion tricks, at each student’s individual level of experience. Acro is an especially challenging dance style for dancers as it requires them to be trained in both dance and acrobatic skills. Acro dancers must be in excellent physical condition as well, because acro is a physically demanding activity.
Ballet is the foundation of the specific curriculum we use here at Kenzie’s Dancin’ Out, which is why many of our classes require concurrent enrollment in a ballet class. Ballet classes will help dancers with posture, flexibility, fitness, balance, self-discipline, and self-confidence.
Contemporary/Lyrical joins ballet and jazz techniques and focuses on interpreting the music through movement. Emotion is important in this style and should be expressed when performing.
Push yourself past your limits in our Conditioning Classes. Dancers will learn how to properly use their muscles through many different exercises. These classes help improve your stamina and keeping your body in shape.
Hip Hop is a high-energy class that is performed to upbeat popular music and is fun. This style of street dancing, breaking, popping, and locking will change regularly to keep up with the current entertainment industry.
Jazz is a high-energy dance performed to fast-paced music. This technique is taught with leaps and turns but also includes fun choreography.
This class combines technique and show performance focusing on multiple Broadway styles and music combining singing, acting, and dancing. This will introduce dancers to both classical and current musicals.
Pom Dance is a style of dance that is focused on fast-paced, polished arm movements, formations, jumps and skills. Pom Dance incorporates movements from other dance styles such as jazz and hip hop and also borrows certain moves and stunts seen in cheerleading.

Dancers will learn high energy dance routines and develop their dance technique to the hottest pop hits (old and new), all whilst holding pom poms!
**There will be an Additional Fee for Pom Poms each year.**
Nothing advances a child's skills faster than a private lesson. During our 45, or 60-minute private lesson we will have an opportunity to focus on corrections, and skill-building in a 1-on-1 environment. Any student can take a private lesson every month and perform a solo, duet, or trio at the recital.
Study the perfection of making the sharpest and quickest sound using just your feet! Tap is offered once a week at our studio to all levels and ages.
In our Technique Classes, our students learn how to properly engage and control their bodies during skills such as leaps, turns, and jumps. Technique Classes are held every day and offered to all levels and ages.
Tumbling class is for those with little or no prior experience in tumbling.
This class will work on: Forward and backward rolls, Cartwheels, Round offs, Bridges, Handstands, and Backbends.
